Ginza Fashion Week

The Campaign for Wool, begun by patron His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, began its second year in Japan with a partnership with two top tier fashion retailers, Ginza Matsuya and Ginza Mitsukoshi in the heart of Tokyo, clustered with many top tier brands.
‘Ginza Fashion Week’ began on the 17th of October with an opening event in the hall area of Ginza Mitsukoshi, to which many press people including TV media visited to cover the event.
This week-long event and Matsuya specifically highlighted woven items, while Mitsukoshi focuses knitted items. Japanese famous brands as such 23-ku, Untitled and Gotairiku also supported the Campaign for Wool.
All the windows of 2 department stores were filled with Wool displays with the Campaign for Wool logo and shoppers throughout the week were able to see, and most importantly, buy, the best of Wool in these two leading Japanese stores.
