Holt Renfrew’s exclusive, limited-edition capsule collection by two Canadian designers SMYTHE and LINE THE LABEL

To begin the annual Autumnal celebrations of the Campaign For Wool’s 10th anniversary, and the wonderful world of wool, The Campaign For Wool –  Canada has declared October 2020 to be Wool Month in Canada.

An exclusive capsule collection, created in collaboration with Canadian retailer Holt Renfrew, crafted with British wool fabrics from Harris Tweed Hebrides and Abraham Moon & Sons, and designed by Canadian fashion houses LINE Knitwear and SMYTHE. The new collection debuts from 24 September at Holt Renfrew and Holt Renfrew Ogilvy locations in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver as well as online.

Later in October the beauty of Canadian wool will be showcased in a selection of hand-knotted, fair trade certified rugs designed by HGTV’s Sarah Richardson and the team at Creative Matters of Toronto. The wool used comes from one of Canada’s last woollen mills, Briggs & Little of New Brunswick.

Finally, in celebration of the Campaign For Wool’s 10th anniversary, a specially commissioned artwork piece of the Campaign for Wool patron will be unveiled. The lifesize creation has been made from needle felting 100% Canadian wool and designed by Manitoba fibre artist Rosemarie Péloquin.
