The Wool Book is an 80 page resource and design guide for interiors – this publication will be on sale in Barnes & Noble in Manhattan from Wool Week. It will be distributed to the American Society of Interior Design and the International Interior Design Association membership. Covering core facts about the fibre as well as many interesting features on wool and wool manufacturers, a special edition will also be available as an app for Apple and android platforms.

Written by Bridgette Kelly, who serves as Interiors Director of the Campaign for Wool, and FABULOUS FLOORS Magazine’s publisher, Margo Locust, the 80-page Wool Book hopes to help raise awareness about the Campaign for Wool which is patroned by HRH The Prince of Wales. Its pages feature the history of sheep, following wool from shearing to the final product, and the ecological benefits of wool. The Wool Book is also illustrated with sophisticated photography featuring wool interior products from plush carpets and rugs to luxurious bedding and upholstery.

In 80 pages, the fibre’s benefits, uses, origin and history is explained along with beautiful imagery and plenty of style tips for the design community.

In addition the Campaign now has a Wool Book App for iPhone and Android platforms, which looks at the Campaign, key wool benefits, wool for interiors, sleep and fashion.

The app is different to the printed Wool Book, it is a special production to support the Wool Book and of course is highly user friendly, this is perfect for use in-store and just adds to our Campaign’s offering. It is available at the app stores and online at Amazon.
