Choose Wool at Ecobuild

Ecobuild the leading UK exhibition and conference Event for the sustainable construction and energy market is back for 2016 and stand E4060 will see regular exhibitors Thermafleece combining forces with The Campaign for Wool and The British Wool Marketing Board.

“The Campaign for Wool and British Wool promotes wool as the superior natural, sustainable fibre for the world we live in today.”  Bridgette Kelly of the Campaign/BWMB said, adding, “Promoting wool for use in the built environment is part of our on-going message to consumers to ‘choose wool’.  Naturally grown wool is a fully sustainable performance fibre that as a result of its unique cell based composition actively responds to its environment – making it the perfect choice for insulating and furnishing your home.”

Thermafleece, the UK’s first, most reliable and trusted brand of natural insulation has a product range that is wool based, odorless, soft, warm to the touch and easy to handle – think of the wrapping your house in the warmest of duvets in the snowiest of weather.

Endorsed by the BSI with a certificate of registration for the supply of thermal and acoustic insulation, manufactured from sheep’s wool, hemp and recycled materials, Thermafleece has over 15 years of experience in producing wool based insulation with a commitment to making the most of nature’s resources and an uncompromising approach to performance, quality and service.

Together with the CFW and the BWMB, the experts from Thermafleece will be on hand to show consumers just how the use of wool in many varied forms plays such a part in the future comfort and livability of our homes.

‘Sheep are nature’s lawnmowers,’ says founder Christine Armstrong, ‘Lose the flocks and we lose the wildflowers on our downs. As importantly, whole livelihoods will be put in jeopardy, from farmhouse B&B’s to local pubs and communities. We mustn’t turn our back on Britain’s home grown fibre! It is both an ancient fibre, and the fibre of the future.’
