The only event in the trade show calendar that focuses entirely on wool flooring is to be held next month (on 15th and 16th March) at Stamford Bridge, in the grounds of Chelsea FC.
Wool Floor Show London will present a stunning collection of wool carpet and rug exhibitors featuring leading brands that do not exhibit together at any other event. There are over twenty-three quality exhibitors at this stunning showcase in the centre of London making it a must-see event.
All the well-known wool carpet manufacturers are exhibiting including Brintons, Axminster Carpets, Adam Carpets, Cormar Carpets, Cavalier Carpets, Brockway Carpets, Ulster Carpets and Kingsmead Carpets and many more. Design flooring is also strong at this event with Crucial Trading, Roger Oates Design and Jacaranda. New this year are Alternative Flooring, BIC, Victoria Carpets and Anta. Also exhibiting are Ball and Young, Sebo, Chromatone and WoolSafe.
The new Rug Gallery will highlight some of the dynamic designs within the rug sector that form part of this year’s Campaign for Wool Carpet & Rug Awards – this provides real interest for Designers.
British Wool, a key funder and organiser of the event, will also be exhibiting, providing information on the fibre grown on sheep on approximately 45,000 sheep farms in the UK. The British Wool team will be offering their promotional support and literature to the retailer and designer.
The ‘Be Informed’ Talks and Seminar programme includes a special event with the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) featuring an in-conversation with Roger Oates, a tour of top styling trends with stylist Arabella McNie and Seasonal Trends for Colour with colour expert – Jessica Light.
The Wool Specialist Education Talks will be run by WoolRetailer.com – the online platform which educates retailers, informs consumers and connects independent retailers with those wool consumers. A whole package of unique benefits is available to the Wool Retailer that signs up for WoolRetailer.com Take Five industry accredited education programme at the event.
“Our aim is to provide easy access to the best wool carpet manufacturers and brands in the industry. Our Trends and strong visual content and our ‘Be Informed Talks’ will assist visitors in their day-to-day business and make a dynamic contribution to their visit to our show. This event is all about wool carpet, its quality, exceptional performance and creative style, we hope to enthuse those people that promote it every day.” Bridgette Kelly, Interior Textiles Director of the Campaign for Wool said.
