Campaign for Wool goes to the Harrogate Flooring Show

Campaign for Wool had the pleasure of attending and exhibiting at The Flooring Show in Harrogate; the UK’s number one trade show for flooring. The CFW team set up base in the Wool Trends Centre and displayed some of the best woolly flooring samples from our partners at Adam Carpets, Axminster Carpets, Brintons, Brockway Carpets, Bronte Carpets and Cavalier Carpets.  Our area presented a variety of pre-designed room plans, some educational signage and mood boards with the hope that our visitors would leave warm, woolly inspired! To coincide with the Wool Trends feature in the Homes & Gardens October issue, the CFW invited Giles Kime and Joanne O’Hara to speak to visitors at the show about how wool is affecting consumers today – increasingly more and more are prioritising quality and sustainability, and both these paths lead to wool.

The show was heaving with people – it was therefore the perfect opportunity to educate many on the multitude of fantastic properties that wool as a fibre offers, and display the variety of new designs to our loyal wool advocates. It was a pleasure to see people understand that contemporary style floorings can be both fashionable and practical. It must also be noted that of course, the most popular wool exhibitions were the flock of sheep welcoming all the visitors upon their arrival. It never fails to show how wool grows in its natural state!

We would like to thank Harrogate for having us and all of our partners who continually make every event we attend a raging success. We can’t wait for Wool Week!
