The Campaign for Wool have launched a special interiors promotion this month to encourage manufacturers, retailers, designers and consumers to nominate their OneWool product of choice to celebrate as part of the international campaign to promote real wool.

The Campaign’s Patron, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales began the initiative, which has seen wool growers, manufacturers, brands, retailers and wool lovers working together to build better understanding of the fibre’s naturally sustainable benefits and many other practical attributes.

OneWool – the new promotion for interiors – will harness the skills, design talent and energy of all those that work with the fibre to create fabrics, art, furnishings and flooring and celebrate the beauty, diversity and practicality of real wool in home décor.

This new promotion follows on from the success of ‘Wool House’ – the major interiors and lifestyle showcase that was held in March 2013 at Somerset House, London – where the Campaign for Wool saw a huge wealth of amazing products from wool interior businesses across the world brought together in one place at the same time.

The Campaign is now keen to see how more wool products together by launching a digital and gallery promotion that retailers and showrooms can participate in.

“Wool House was a truly stunning showcase and a revelation to many people as to the sheer quantity and quality of wool interior products but it was merely a snapshot of the huge range of wool features for the home. We know there is far more!

“OneWool is the major platform for the USA in 2013/14 and it is open to everyone.  We want to encourage all to participate so that we can put wool and its creative edge at the top of the agenda for design and the home.”  Bridgette Kelly of the Campaign for Wool said, adding that the aim was to curate a OneWool gallery from the nominations.

Nominations of OneWool products can be made by sending an image and a few words (50-100) explaining the product details and why it has been selected to onewool@campaignforwool.org and may be used in social media and PR.

Businesses are also encouraged to feature their nomination in store displays and e-mail them to their business networks to show how they are participating in the October Wool Week and the longer running OneWool promotion.  A OneWool supporter message and the social media icons are available at – https://www.campaignforwool.org/event-item/onewool-2/
