Last week The Campaign for Wool hosted a Wool Week press day previewing the best of wool in fashion and interiors for AW15, as well as a sneak peek at this year’s Wool Week highlights.
Wool Week 2015 will take place from 5th – 11th October. Over the course of seven wool-filled days, the public will have the opportunity to participate in an exciting line-up of activities taking place across the country. The Campaign for Wool showcased a key edit of wool items for AW15 from brands including, Abraham Moons & Sons, Ally Capellino, Anderson and Sheppard, Barbour, E.Tautz, Finisterre, Hackett & Fox Brothers, Harris Tweed Hebrides, Holly Fulton, Jaeger, Jigsaw, Marks and Spencer, Pringle of Scotland, Smalls and Wool & the Gang.
The looks were styled by Luke Day, Editor of GQ Style and featured in the Campaign’s AW15 photoshoot, shot by Nick Leary, starring model Devon Windsor. The editorial was photographed in the backdrop of the scenic Scottish highlands; telling the story of a love of wool, the feeling it imparts emotionally and physically and the love of nature.
An installation of wool interiors featured a colourful display of products from Alternative Flooring, Brintons, Bronte by Moon, Cormar Carpets, Crucial Trading, Heals, Hugh MacKay, John Lewis, Kirkby Design, Roger Oates, Sanderson, Tetrad, Ulster carpets, Wallace Sewell and Zofran.
