With less than 4 weeks to go until Christmas and 2 weeks until Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day, which is held on Friday 16th December. The Campaign for Wool have selected some of the best his, hers and kids woolly Xmas jumpers from a selection of our favourite brands and designers.
Most Christmas Jumpers are made from acrylic and flammable fabrics that are not only unhealthy for you to wear, but also do not biodegrade, when you throw them away after the festive period, and remain in landfill, which make these cheap jumpers ‘not just for Christmas’ but for a lifetime in landfill.
With studies proven that wool can improve your skin health and can even help with eczema due to the natural proteins in the fibre, wool is also biodegradable and returns to the land in a matter of months when it is thrown away making these jumpers a perfect natural solution.
