A new brand for wool – the Green Sheep – will be launched at Surfaces 2014. The brand has emerged from the internationally successful Campaign for Wool and which has His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales as Patron. It will represent all origins of wool and is endorsed by the leading wool organisations of the world including those in Australia, United Kingdom, New Zealand, South Africa and America.
The Green Sheep which has all the major wool carpet manufacturers as partners aims to promote, inform and build a much stronger position for real wool by pushing new initiatives and platforms for wool manufacturers and retailers. Using its tested approach of high level events and public relations accompanied by education and promotional support to manufacturers and retailers.
Green Sheep branding can be used on quality wool carpets, rugs and fabrics. Partnership with the brand is based on mutual benefits, there are no partnership joining costs and many benefits.
NEW…ONEWOOL PROMOTION
Launching the major new OneWool campaign at Surfaces, the Green Sheep will be showcasing the wealth of fabulous wool products in the market today from carpet and rug manufacturers. OneWool is a global platform which curates excellence in wool in a wide range of interior products and will lead to an online gallery and exhibition of wool products for the consumer.
NEW…EDUCATION TOOLS FOR RETAILERS AND MANUFACTURERS
A registered Continuous Education Programme has been created for wool carpet which looks at wool as a fibre and its many benefits to carpet and rugs. It helps to identify different carpet types and how to choose wool carpet for the right areas.
Manufacturer partners of the Green Sheep will have free access to training on this and following registration, will be able to host face to face Wool Carpet CEU training for retailers and designers. Train the trainer sessions prior to registration can be booked at Surfaces.
NEW…FREE POS FOR REGISTERED WOOL RETAILERS
The Green Sheep is offering many POS materials to wool carpet and rug retailers that register at Surfaces to be part of this global promotion. Pull-up banners, green sheep and wool information brochures can be ordered on the Green Sheep booth. The latest wool app is also available.
