On his recent visit to New Zealand our Patron, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, made a short visit during his busy schedule to meet some of the key people involved in the New Zealand wool industry.

HRH inspected and handled the fineness and softness of local wool and spoke at length with the Minister of Agriculture to understand the issues facing the wool industry, especially with strong wools and the investment being made by the New Zealand government in support.

A working group has been set up to discuss the wool industry business, from growing wool to education programs and the Campaign for Wool will assist, where possible, to work alongside the group, to try and find solutions and new ways of highlighting and marketing New Zealand wool to the wider global audience.
